Composition:

Each ml contains:

Ivermectin…………………………….10mg

Clorsulon……………………………100mg

Excipients ad…………………………..1ml

Description:

Ivermectin belongs to the group of avermectins and acts against roundworms and parasites. Clorsulon is a sulphonamide which acts primarily against adult and immature liver flukes. Ivermectin and clorsulon delivers excellent internal and external parasite control.

Indications:

The product is indicated for the treatment of mixed infestation of adult liver fluke and gastro-intestinal roundworms, lungworms, eye worms, and/or mites and lice of beef and non-lactating dairy cattle.

Administration and Dosage:

The product should be administered only by subcutaneous injection under the loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder.

A single dose of 1ml per 50kg b.w, i.e. 200µg ivermectin and 2mg clorsulon per kg b.w.

Generally, this product only used once.

Side Effects:

Transitory discomfort has been observed in some cattle following subcutaneous administration. A low incidence of soft tissue swelling at the injection site has been observed. These reactions disappeared without treatment.

Contraindications:

This product is not to be used intramuscularly or intravenously. Ivermectin and clorsulon injection for cattle is a low-volume product registered for use in cattle. It should not be used in other species as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dogs, may occur.

Withdrawal period:

Meat & Offal: 66 days

Milk: Do not use in cattle producing milk for human consumption.

Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows including pregnant heifers within 60 days of calving.

Storage:

Store below 25ºC, in a cool and dry place, and protect from light.
