Product Description

Composition:

Ceftiofur Sodium

Description: 

This product is white to grayish yellow powder or loose block.

Indication:

β-lactam antibiotics. It is mainly used to treat bacterial diseases of livestock and poultry. Such as pig bacterial respiratory tract infection and chicken E. coli, Salmonella infection.

Administration and Dosage:

Dissolve every bottle of this product in 10 ml special diluting agent.
pigs: intramuscular injection, 0.6～1ml(30～50mg)/10kg body weight, once daily for 3 successive days.
cattle: intramuscular injection, 1～2ml(50～100mg)/50kg body weight, once daily for 3 successive days.
chicken: dissolve this product with vaccine diluting solution or sterile water for injection to 1000ml and administer 0.2ml（0.1mg） of this solution by hypodermic injection at the neck with syringes with no. 26 needles or other proper auto injectors. it can also be co-administered with marek’s vaccine with no impacts on the potency of marek’s vaccine. 

Adverse Reactions:

(1) It may cause gastrointestinal flora disorder or double infection. (2) It has certain nephrotoxicity. (3) Local transient pain may occur.

Precaution:

(1) It is now matched and used. (2) The dosage should be adjusted in animals with renal insufficiency. (3) People with high sensitivity to β-lactam antibiotics should avoid contact with this product.

Withdrawal Period:

Cattle: 3days  pig: 1 day ,chicken: 0day , milk draw days: 12hours
